UpsideIQ is a product of LFO Capital LLC ("LFO Capital," "we," "us," or "our"), a commercial real estate investment firm. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the UpsideIQ platform at upsideiq.ai.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your name and email address. We do not collect payment card details directly — all payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc.

Deal data: Property details, financial inputs, and any Offering Memorandum PDFs you upload. This data is used solely to run underwriting analysis for your account.

Usage data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this to monitor platform health and improve the product.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the UpsideIQ platform
• To run underwriting analysis on deals you submit
• To process payments via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
• To improve platform features and fix bugs
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information or deal data to third parties. We do not use your deal data for any purpose other than running analysis for your account.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secured servers. Uploaded Offering Memorandums are stored in a private filesystem with user-specific paths and are not publicly accessible. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we implement reasonable safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic Claude API — AI-powered OM data extraction. Uploaded documents may be processed by Anthropic's API.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and deal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete a deal, it is removed from our database. If you close your account, contact us at info@lfocapital.com and we will delete your data within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use a session cookie (upsideiq_session) to maintain your login state. No third-party tracking cookies are used. We do not run advertising networks or behavioral tracking.

8. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@lfocapital.com. You may also delete individual deals directly from your dashboard.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
